Scientific tour of students from Tran Dai Nghia high school

On 20th March 2021, The International University welcomed 87 students from Tran Dai Nghia High School to visit some departments. Especially, Cellular Reprogramming was very glad to introduce to the world-class techniques which were applying in Lab.

This was the first time, they saw the morphology and size of sperm and eggs in reality. Evenly, they could touch the eggs through a manipulator system. We explained the mechanism of Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) through performance to make them understand how was ICSI applied. One of the interesting experiments was the way to make the Dolly sheep in 1997 or called Somatic Cells Nuclear Transfer (SCNT). Some of them read or heard something about the SCNT through biology lesson but this was the first time, they have seen how to enucleation and injection through mouse model performance. All of them were excited about what we did in Lab.
