Welcome H.E. Hoang Dang Quang and H.E. Vu Hai Quan to Cellular Reprogramming Laboratory

On 20/4/2023, CRL Lab – School of Biotechnology – International University was honored to welcome H.E.Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee and deputy head of the Committee’s Organization Commission and H.E. Vu Hai Quan member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) to visit International University.

At the visit, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Thuan, Dean of School of Biotechnology, International University, Vietnam National University of Hochiminh City – Vietnam introduced to research and technologies in Infertility treatment, cloning technology, stem cell, and Cell reprogramming. 

H.E.Hoang Dang Quang was very interested in the performance of CRL members with manipulator system. Prof. Thuan explained in more detail the skill to choose mouse sperm and inject mouse sperm heads into mouse oocytes (Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection). Moreover, the Ph.D student also performed  Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer (SCNT) process in mouse oocytes and application of cloning techniques in agriculture and human therapy. 

Especially, He was impressed with the working environment of CRL Lab. The lab is equipped with modern systems for education, and research and is always open all day (24/7) for both undergraduate students and graduate students can do their experiments.
