The visiting of President of Vietnam – Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST)

On the morning of April 2nd, 2021, Dr. Kum Dongwha – President of  Vietnam – Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) had a meeting and visited Viet Nam University (VNU). With that event, he also visited the Cellular Reprogramming Laboratory of International University. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Thuan- Dean, Head of Biotechnology Department introduced some projects which have been processing in Laboratory. Moreover, he also introduced some techniques using in laboratories such as Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) and biopsy at eight- cell stage of mouse embryos. Through some discussions, there were many memories about the first time, Prof. Thuan has contributed to writing  a draft in the field of Biotechnology  for VKIST project. At this time, they also discussed some points which maybe were cooperated between VKIST and the Biotechnology department of IU in the future.
